"The Elegant Solution"
The Oracle Towers
Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Located at the entry of Oracle Lane between the two towers of the Oracle Buildings. The concept of this sculpture was created by Rodney Burnett-Jones and is our largest art piece to date.
The piece is seven meters tall and is constructed from sixteen sections of marine grade stainless steel arranged over a central column. The base is textured stainless steel forming a crystal effect. A series of five bronze plaques around the base detail the companies involved in development of the Oracle project.
The Elegant Solution was commissioned by Niecon Developments and was unveiled by the Gold Coast mayor, Tom Tate, on whenever. The photos in this gallery cover the sculpture from the concept and modelling stages, through fabrication and to the official opening.
This is the sister sculpture to the spiral ball sculpture located nearby at the Star Casino /Gold Coast Convention Center pedestrian bridge.
